Apply for this role →The Role
Enterprise Modernization Leads help established organizations move critical systems forward without reckless rewrites. You will work with legacy applications, compliance boundaries, integrations, migration plans, and stakeholder-heavy environments where downtime and trust matter.
This role is for someone who can modernize patiently while still creating visible momentum.
What You Will Do
- Assess legacy systems and identify practical modernization paths.
- Design strangler patterns, integration boundaries, data migration plans, and phased releases.
- Lead technical conversations with executives, engineering teams, security, compliance, and operations.
- Use agentic tooling to accelerate analysis, tests, documentation, refactors, and migration scaffolding.
- Reduce risk through observability, rollback paths, contract tests, and incremental production validation.
- Help clients decide what to replace, what to wrap, and what to leave alone.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of engineering experience with substantial enterprise or regulated-system exposure.
- Experience modernizing legacy platforms, monoliths, mainframes, ERPs, internal tools, or integration-heavy systems.
- Strong communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Comfort with ambiguity, organizational constraints, and systems that cannot simply be rebuilt from scratch.
- Pragmatism: you know the best architecture is often the one an organization can actually adopt.
Success Looks Like
Clients get safer, faster, more maintainable systems without a big-bang migration. You create trust by lowering risk, making progress visible, and keeping production stable.
